Etsy bling: monogrammed ring
I’ve recently been obsessed with the stackable rings from Pandora.
I really love the idea of being able to build a totally unique design that no one else will have. When I was still living in Montreal, I would go to the Pandora store on my lunch hour and try a bunch on. Except they were all attached to stretchy strings which is code for “these are expeezy so we have to tie them down so loonies like you won’t walk out with them.” I get it, Pandora store, IF THAT IS EVEN YOUR REAL NAME.
So I took to Etsy to make my own creation. For the price of one of the Pandora rings, I bought seven individual rings from various jewelry makers on Etsy.
I had one little heart ring stamped with an M because the BF’s name starts with an M. Cute, right? It’s just a small daily reminder of how thankful I am that he’s in my life. Things have been incredibly rough the past few months. In addition to the stress of leaving my life behind, moving and starting a new job, my family is falling apart in more ways than one and he’s been there for me every step of the way. Thanks, M.

Loved: More from Brazen Design
I already told you about my friend Rachel and her company, Brazen Design. She makes gorgeous silver jewelry that is right up my alley. A lot of chunky silver and graphic elements inspired by nature and urban centres. Love.
When she announced on Facebook that she had one last pair of these chain earrings, my inner impulse shopper kicked in and I went straight to her Etsy page. Where I also decided I needed to have another one of her necklaces I’ve been coveting. I already have this one.
Without further ado, these are the lovely items that will be added to my jewelry collection very shortly. And, Rachel and I even convo’d about the chain on the necklace to make sure it was the perfect length to wear with my favourite every day necklace. I mean, really. Just go buy something of hers already.

Winter wonderland: snow globe rings
Um. How adorable are these rings? There’s a whole tiny little world sitting atop your finger. Like Horton Hears a Who. Only not.
If you loved dollhouses as much as I did when I was little, you can appreciate Shannnam’s Fragmented Chronicles.

Anyone who says a watch doesn’t count as jewelry obviously has another think coming. Watches play a major part in outfit planning. I’ve had my eye on a Michael Kors rose gold sparkler, which would obviously go with everything, but until I find a reason to drop a few hundred dollars on a watch, I’ll have to settle for the cheap stuff.
Cue RumbaTime Broadway watches. Available in a plethora of bubble gum colours and only $20, you can practically afford one to match each shade of eye shadow you own.
But don’t do that. It’s a bit tacky.
It’s part slap bracelet, part Pop Swatch (you can pop out the watch face and switch up the coloured bands) , total 90s.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to find my Doc Martens and safety pin my jeans to my legs.

You know those people who quit their day job to make their dream career come true? Well, I know those people. Yep. All of them. Because I get the newsletter, I learnt that my friend Marie-Louise is the newest member of the club. She left a career in advertising to travel the world and make jewelry.
Her first collection is inspired by a trip to El Salvador, where she hung out with old Mayan stuff, climbed volcanos and ate a lot of fruit. I’m embarking on quite the love affair with the Lava Drop Earrings and the Zest Necklace. Because with a piece of citrus fruit around your neck and a piece of volcano hanging from your ears, you’re practically on an international adventure and *not* sitting behind a desk finding synonyms for “dazzling” right?
Right.

How adorable are these earrings from Catbird?
You may or may not be aware that I’m a bit of a word nerd, so I would have trouble deciding which letters to get. My initials? The BFs initials? Our initials combined? My cat’s initials? WTF? So many options.
Also, they’re available in silver and gold.
